New Yorker reporter Jane Mayer suggested in a new interview that she and Ronan Farrow reported on Deborah Ramirez's uncorroborated accusation of misconduct by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh out of eagerness to show a "pattern" of such behavior.
The veteran journalist told Elle her recollections of the Clarence Thomas hearings, the treatment of Anita Hill by the Senate, and the public informed her judgment regarding Kavanaugh.
"So having watched this before, I knew that key issues would be whether the judge had a pattern of similar behavior, since that helps establish who is telling the truth when there is a standoff, and whether there were credible corroborators on either side," she said. "Knowing this is why Ronan Farrow and I were so alert to the significance of other accusers, such as Deborah Ramirez. Her allegation showed that, if true, yes, there was a pattern of misconduct, and likely another side of the judge."

Because the Party of Satan figures it’s immune from backlash. It’s doubtful that any of this leftard scum will be sued, and members of the leftard media will not be prosecuted.
I hope these idiots keep themselves out of the jury pool. “Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Democrat party?” Sounds like a fair question.
And winning is a strange thing. It snowballs into a lot more winning after a while.
Why not, it worked with Roy Moore. He had dated a few 18 year olds when he was in his 30s. All they needed was one liar with a sleazier story, because they already had his “pattern” set up.
These so called “journalists” are beneath contempt.
Swing and a miss...
Unbelievable. Maybe journalists need to be licensed and then Jane and Ronan could have their licenses taken away.
Which is why the dolt is only a reporter.
Please, please, liberal journalists, leave real thinking to folks who have experience with it.
I’m glad they are open about their plots and lies.
The more people you get to lie about somebody, the more believable they will be?
An admission of defamatory intent.
Send that article to Grassley.
Basically she “WANTS TO BELIEVE”. It’s not a search for the truth. It’s advocating for an agenda.
But of course we would never assume a concerted effort to establish such pattern through false accusations. In an attempt to stop his confirmation.
Real thinking lol
I’d say fully 60 percent of Americans aren’t idiots.
That’s all we need to see through all of the garbage and wake up and vote right.
I’m the only college graduate out of a group of maybe 20 pals who grew up together.
Sadly, I think I make the least :)
And they are quite sharp when it comes to political goings on.
Perhaps college gives one more knowledge about various subjects.
it doesn’t’ seem to help much in the rational decision making process though.
They sell their virtue (if any) by reporting first and asking questions later — just in case there might be some truth in it, and especially if it hurts conservatism.
And thus we see a new standard of lowball reporting skills and ethics. And they are surprised to be called “fake news” and “presstitutes”.
Sure, there’s a pattern. Lefty reporters always lie.
