Never heard of him or the show, but RIP.
Amazing job as Herschel. Always talked about his 100-year-old mom watching the Walking dead with him.
You’re not missing out. (The show.)
Hopefully he is walking... in newness of eternal life.
I know that FReepers hate Hollywood, but c'mon.
From wiki:
He has more than 50 film credits, including In the Heat of the Night, In Cold Blood, The Great Gatsby, Dead Man Walking, Pearl Harbor, and Junebug.[2] In 1980, Wilson received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor Motion Picture for his role in The Ninth Configuration.[3][4]
I only know him from the Walking Dead (Zombie show). But in interviews, the other actors would talk about what a great guy, and a great actor he is. My kids are big fans, and one of them has a photo of him and herself up on her wall. Taken during one of those fan conventions where they really make the money I think.
Well...dang.
RIP.
Flashback episode, I presume, in what will be Andrew Lincoln's final season. Probably bringing a bunch of the old cast back for this.
It was a great show that lost its way. Time to wrap it up. RIP Scott Wilson.

Sorry to hear. I enjoyed his role in the show.
Edna, thank you so much for posting this. Scott was a friend of mine and I love him, dearly. I did not know of his passing. Scott was a down to earth, genius actor who disliked the media spotlight but loved people. I’m terribly sad.
You’re welcome. I’m sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful actor.

bet you play video games and watch super hero movies too.
Scott Wilson was a really good actor. He was in the original movie “In Cold Blood” with Robert Blake.
He was in a few episodes on the original CSI: Las Vegas playing Catherine’s father, Casino Mogul, Sam Brawn. I always thought the was the most interesting and they should have had him as a recurring character more. Underrated Actor.
God Speed Scott, thank for the great hours of entertainment.
remember him from “IN COLD BLOOD”......with Robert Blake..r.i.p.
Someone had to say that. If it wasn’t you then it would have been me.
The last episode I watched was the last episode of the season with the cliff-hanger where Jeffrey Dean Morgan was going to kill a couple of people with Lucille. I watched about two minutes of the first episode of the next season and turned it off, never to watch again.
Oh no! He was maybe my very favorite character! RIP
The first five seasons were great television. Season Six in Alexandria started to drag. I gave up pretty much when you did, when Negan came into the picture.
I think the best part of the show is the premise, when the Zombie Apocalypse first takes place and the survivors have to learn to adapt to the new world. Once the routine sets in, it's hard to keep up the momentum and the show became predictable and repetitive.
