On the Constitution, have a look at originalism. Thomas is an originalist, as were Scalia and Bork.

You are correct there...thank you for that post. I made the common mistake of using the two as synonyms...and they aren’t. I don’t want to keep making that mistake.
I am personally more of an originalist myself, owning several variants of “The Federalist Papers” which plumb much of the sentiments at that time and try to address them.
Many things change, technology changes, but the basic precepts of the thoughts behind the Constitution are sound and extremely well thought out.
