Like the 17 year cicadas?
Some of my pals ate them, land shrimp they called them!
I have seen bazillions of them never noticed any stink?
We have cidadas all the time. The kitties love bringing them in because they make so much noise. No, haven’t noticed a smell but then it’s only one at a time compared to a Biblical swarm of crickets.
