How many of you agree that Senator Grassley should step down because of his continued incompetence?
Grossly has allowed Ford lawyer to control this by moving the goal posts and running the clock out.
Not a chance nor do I think he should.
Has no Balls and should be ridiculing the Press and the Democrats for pushing this attack on our Justice System. No Balls.
When he emerges victorious next week with a newly minted Associate Justice on the Supreme Court can I remind you of this thread?
NO. He’s being magnanimous because he knows something we don’t. He knows that Blasey-Ford can’t/won’t appear.
I believe she simply is a manufactured hoax and not even a real person. Note - she has never appeared in public, and no one has seen her, talked with neighbors, etc... even her “letter” is still secret.
Or she may be real, but so far from the public story, Grassley knows it doesn’t hurt to play the nice guy.
Anyway, it will all be over Monday, and the MSM will start with some new story to manipulate us.
Senators are pretty intent on DYING out of office. He will not step down or retire.
He’s doing fine. For one thing, he may not have the votes in the committee to get Kavanaugh approved right now. Secondly, stringing this out makes Buzzy Ford and her lawyers look more ridiculous by the day.
I think it’s Flake and Corker. They are hoping she will show up and be just credible enough to give them cover.
Pretty sure it is McConnell’s doings and not Grassley.

I think he knows that she has basically lost her nerve and her handlers are trying to talk her into going forward. Ballsy knows that she doesn’t have the goods on Kavannagh and is now trying to get out of it.
Playing it for all he can. Tough to beat media where this has morphed from clumsy groping to rape.

Yep. And we will all laugh. But the GOP has focused well on the judiciary and we are already seeing amazing results. From not seating Garrick to getting Gorsuch plus over 100 new, young, great judges I am pleased.
If we end up waiting for Kav an extra week, oh well.
We need to see how this plays out.
One thing (amongst many) that Trump has shown the GOP leadership is the value of thinking strategically. There have been many times where an action of Trump’s doesn’t always seem a wise move at the time, but days/weeks/ months later we see it was a masterstroke.
My hunch is he knows Ford is a liar and is giving her the rope to hang herself without having to dirty his own hands

This question can be asked of nearly all Republicans.
Grassley was dealt a hand from a stacked deck.....and he knows it.
He’s playing the hand as best he can......knowing desperate Dems, starving for power, are ready to pounce at any time.
His words and actions do not reflect what is really going on.....he plays his cards close to his chest.
