I think it’s a good time to remind folks of some of the basic forum rules, as stated on the FR home page:
“Do keep it clean - A bruise or two between Freepers is tolerable, but refrain from abusive attacks, engaging in senseless flame wars, and using profane language. Considering the range of topics we discuss, it’s hard to be a family site, but that’s what we aim for when at all possible.”
“Don’t jump threads - If you get involved in an argument in one thread, it’s considered poor manners to restart the previous argument in the middle of an unrelated thread.”
“Please enjoy our forum, but also please remember to use common courtesy when posting and refrain from posting personal attacks, profanity, vulgarity, threats, racial or religious bigotry, or any other materials offensive or otherwise inappropriate for a conservative family audience.”
The whole Q debate, has created an environment that is reminiscent of the great Trump vs. Cruz wars that raged here during 2016, though (as yet) not as vicious or pervasive.
There is altogether too much of the sorts of behavior that are specifically called out in the above excerpts as unwelcome. Any discussion of Q topics will generally lead to name calling, personal insults, profanity directed at specific users, and the like. People on BOTH sides are guilty and almost always the same people are involved.
It’s annoying, childish, totally unnecessary, and it does nothing whatsoever to advance one position or the other. If calling someone else an idiot once doesn’t change their mind, doing it 20 times will probably not succeed either.
Just stop it. We aren’t children squabbling over toys in a sandbox.
I urge you to make it clear that such behavior continues to be unwelcome here, even to the point of suspending or zotting the worst offenders.

Absolutely.
1: It’s a topic to itself, and although it does obviously touch on many other subjects of interest nobody should want every discussion to be Q this and WWG1WGA that.
2: A great number of people, good- or ill-intentioned, on other fora introduce extra bonus topics like hollow earth stuff, ancient aliens, and gematria, and those definitely don’t need to be part of the general FR flow (even if you support these correlations, which I don’t).

I had forgotten about that one.
I did remember about the Birth Cert was going to be the end of Obama.
It too felt like a planted story designed to have FR members fighting with each other.
My mantra now is to be respectful to fellow FR members but to be suspicious of anything which sounds too good to be true.

Per my commitment to Jim I will refuse any/all attempts to pull this subject/source and insights into any other posting despite attempts to do so by any other member
By the same token those of opposing views will be met with my own perceptions of the subject/source information in a healthy manner. Attempts by them to draw me into a name calling or other disruptive conversation will be met by the most effective means I know of

Prove your point or I will ignore you, I will not respond to rants or other comments that seek to demoralize or destroy what FR members discuss there.
Demean me and my perceptions and insights and I will dismiss you and not respond no matter how many times you attack. The purpose of that special thread is discussion and sharing of information to help others learn. If you come there to disrupt and demean others there your responses will be noted and you may expect the same reaction from others there.

And thank you Jim Robinson for allowing those who find wisdom and insights in that material to congregate there in one posting thread and in our own way support the spirit of this board.

Jim just as a point of reference, posts like this one and the post following it are perfect exemplars of what we are experiencing on the QAnon thread, and I ask that if we mark them as such you will take appropriate action. Know that in my opinion they seek not only to take down that way of thinking, but FR on the whole as the only truly free bastion of thinking I have found on the Internet
