Trump never declares he will declassify documents. Never. That is a lie.
At 6:00 in the video, President Trump says, “At the right time, I think I might have to do the documents”.
Not, “I will”. But “I think I might”.
“Might” is optional. No commitment there.
“I think”. He may think something else tomorrow.
As usual, Trump is just negotiating. He is just floating a trial balloon to see how it plays on both sides of the fence It doesn’t mean spit. It is a Trumpism.
For a Freeper to hear that quot and then post a unequivocal, declarative statement that Trump will “declassify all documents” is misleading at best and a bald faced lie at worst. I will chalk it up to an over exuberant Freeper and assume he wasn’t trying to be a sensationalist who’s ego wanted him to be breaking big news.
I missed a third disqualifier in the short quote.
What does “at the right time” mean. Trump could mean, he will declassify documents only after Congress brings him up on impeachment. And if that never happens, then he won’t.
