Google has launched a brand new feature for its artificially intelligent Google Assistant thats designed to cheer people up by filtering negative news.
Simply ask your phone (or the Google Home speaker) to tell me something good and youll be given a nice summary of positive stories about people solving real problems.
These days were consuming more news than ever, and sometimes, it can feel like there are only problems out there, explained Ryan Burke, a creative producer at Googles Creative Lab.
But the fact is, there is a plethora of good news happening, and were not talking about unlikely animal friendships or random acts of kindness.

Ooh, maybe someone can program google to bring up positive stories about America, Trump, and conservatives every time they look for a negative one.

Nah, you only think you have. You're using it right here on this very page by only the act of visiting. By visiting this page you have agreed to give them data and they took it.

Google Analytics are in the code of every page on FreeRepublic.

Google is now willing to peddle the doctored “kool ade” as a distraction from reality. But that is not really something new. Google has been afraid of reality for some time.
Absurdity At Google
Google is powerful because it is so nearly ubiquitous. With power used to go moral responsibility. But Google has yet to get that message. Burying your heads in the sand was never responmsible or moral.

My point is, most people don't realize the technologies they're using. You may think you're not using Google, but you are, even if you get complex and block the domain in a hosts file or at layer 3...
Same goes for folks who say "I have a dumb phone" so I can't be tracked... dumb phones are tracked just like smart phones...

TexasGunLover means that Google is indexing as many pages on the World Wide Web as possible, and will track which pages you have visited.

It's more than that.... FR uses Google Analytics, so it isn't just indexing.

It would be a good at Yahoo.com site. Their main page is nothing but bad news. Once filtered there would be a blank page!
