A lot of folks at Twitter have been posting extremely detailed thoughts on what is happening. It is indeed a purge. If they can eliminate the conservative voice and it costs them 20% of their worth, possibly a temporary loss, to them it is worth it. It's the mission, not the profit to them. They are true believers and said forums are their chosen battleground.
If they let conservatives continue to speak freely, they will lose the argument, it's always the same results, so they must silence them.

Really makes you reflect. Free Republic really is the only place you won't get persecuted for free speech. There are verbal consequences from posters when they disagree, but we are generally left alone when we abide by the rules.
I would not say "Safe Space", but call it a "Freedom Zone".
