That would imply the burial party had very low regard for the deceased. Which then brings up the question , why such a large stone sarcophagus ? Imagine the time spent carving it. The time spent burying it SOOOO DEEP.
Why were none of the carcasses 'mummified' ?
What the heck is wrong with people? Until I saw the picture, I thought some mis-guided people wanted to drink liquid found in a vial or urn, not this toxic mess.
I couldn’t even make a joke about drinking this. btw - for the petitioners - the people inside the goo are dead. I don’t think this indicates it is the elixir of life.
