Why the non-allowed topics? We have no advertisers to answer to, we’re not overseen by anyone...I’ve always wondered....

Earlier this year, some FReeQs were posting on an obsolete thread after the rest of us had moved to a newer thread. I received word that thread had been locked and read a message JR had edited into the top of the thread stating that 9/11 conspiracy material was not to be posted. I think he may have mentioned UFO stuff there or in a latter thread when I asked participants to move a controversial topic to private messaging. One of those persons I addressed disputed my request saying JR had said all topics were welcome and pinged JR to the thread. He gently said we do keep an open mind but, paraphrasing here, some topics are not suited for FR and upheld my request.
The request re the SS agent was mine alone, not JR’s. I did so because we are in a period of grieving and I noted discord arising out of some of that content. I hope to avoid inviting speculation that could impugn a man who died in service to POTUS at a sensitive time while our country, and POTUS, is still grieving his loss.
One of the longest standing forbidden topics here is Infowars. I never really understood that ban until I started listening to AJ for a while. Now I understand Jim's position perfectly, and I fully agree.
