Dear thread builders, I am posting a new thread because I realized that some were not here when we were asked by the board owner not to post 9/11 content on FR. Those who wish to continue 9/11 discussions can us Free Republic's private message feature to so so.Ongoing conversations can be managed via private messaging by copying the names of all whom you address your message to and pasting into the top of the messages sent. That way participants can keep sharing new messages witha all members the private message group.
As our nation is still grieving the loss of the fallen Secret Service agent, whom Trump has commended for his service, it's best not to invite speculation as to possible theories which may appear to question his ultimate sacrifice. We are in the habit of questioning all that we read now, but our investigative habits and willingness to explore all options, which serves us so well in many other arenas, may not be interpreted as intended or may be seen as tarnishing the vigorous commendation POTUS has awarded the fallen agent. We are now within the storm.
In addition, I request about JFK Jr. rumor analysis move to private messaging "threads."
It seems we've had a breakthrough (Thank you, 8Chan) on pedo content and cannot anticipate what kind of material will be exposed in the near future. From this point forward, I request that those posting particularly distressing content do so with large text CAUTION GRAPHIC CONTENT and a brief generic description. If you wish make photographic evidence available, please provide links only. Today, I happened across a twitter feed re the current pedo content which included a large photograph of the beaten face of a toddler (split lip, swelling, black eye) that I wish I could unsee.
I do read and study repulsive pedo research (nothing graphic) because I believe those of us who can do so must make that our sacrifice, so that our hearts absorb those wounds in place of predators' intended victims; let the children take shelter behind us as we fight for them to expose the worst of our society.
Your care and content warnings will help shield those among us with extra challenges right now (medical illness, divorce, depression, death in family etc.) who need the option to avoid graphic, malevolent material as needed.
Tonight we've seen indications that events continue to unfold; posts re Brennan and the IC's declassify request to POTUS (letter dated JUNE, exposure of letter is new) will be transfered to the new thread soon. We are so much stronger together; let's stay that way.
More of the Q BS? Probably some kid in his Mom’s basement making all this BS up. Can’t believe people on FR are trafficing in it. Day after day as if it is some oracle.

Earlier this year, some FReeQs were posting on an obsolete thread after the rest of us had moved to a newer thread. I received word that thread had been locked and read a message JR had edited into the top of the thread stating that 9/11 conspiracy material was not to be posted. I think he may have mentioned UFO stuff there or in a latter thread when I asked participants to move a controversial topic to private messaging. One of those persons I addressed disputed my request saying JR had said all topics were welcome and pinged JR to the thread. He gently said we do keep an open mind but, paraphrasing here, some topics are not suited for FR and upheld my request.
The request re the SS agent was mine alone, not JR’s. I did so because we are in a period of grieving and I noted discord arising out of some of that content. I hope to avoid inviting speculation that could impugn a man who died in service to POTUS at a sensitive time while our country, and POTUS, is still grieving his loss.

GUANTANAMO BAY NAVY BASE, CUBA —
Earlier this month, in a drill shrouded in secrecy, prison guards practiced for something that hasn't actually happened at Guantánamo in a decade. They rehearsed receiving a new war-on-terror detainee.
Medical evaluation? Check. Notification of the International Red Cross? Check. Assignment to a cell? Check. Security and more security. Gone are the iconic orange uniforms that made Camp X-Ray infamous. The man who played the role of new captive wore white.
Navy Rear Adm. John Ring, the prison commander, says he hasn't gotten any word that new prisoners are coming. But since President Donald Trump signed an order keeping the prison open, Ring's staff is now preparing for what spokeswoman Navy Cmdr. Anne Leanos calls an "enduring mission.”
"I have not been told we’re getting new people. I have no order to receive new people. I’ve been asked some hypothetical questions about capacities and things like that, but we are not imminently expecting anybody," Ring told reporters in early June...........................President Barack Obama's administration, which saw Guantánamo prison as a recruiting symbol for al-Qaida, sought to shut it down by moving to U.S. lockups the last of the nearly 800 post-9/11 captives seized during the George W. Bush years. Congress thwarted that ambition by forbidding the transfer of Guantánamo prisoners to the United States.
But on Jan. 30, President Donald Trump revoked Obama's closure order. So the prison leadership is now making plans for 25-35 more years of detention, said Army Col. Steve Gabavics, the guard force commander.
One thought is to hire civilian Department of Defense employees for key prison staff positions — the lawyer, spokesman, chief of staff — on minimum two-year contracts, rather than fill those roles with revolving, temporary troops. It would be more costly to taxpayers because such hires could bring families, who live in base housing and enroll their kids in the Navy base school system.
But they could provide continuity for the Army National Guard soldiers plucked from civilian lives to serve nine-month tours of duty here, without family. Congress has already given the Army $115 million to build an 868-bed barracks for the nine-month forces.
Now the admiral is proposing to more barracks for another 960 nine-month-stay prison guards.....................
