Just the fact that he can walk that far in the Alabama summer heat is something, especially with the current crop of recruits the military has to deal with now. Boot camp will be a breeze for him, physically anyway.
I’m glad GOD is still making guys like this. Nothing but admiration for his ‘want to’.
You can almost see the lamestream media headline now:
“While men force young black man to drive four year old car!”
Oprah gives a car to everyone in her audience. Some complain it was not free as they had to pay taxes and registration.
That actually happened.
The problem is, the lamestream media has decided that their best narrative is that ALL white people hate ALL black people.
Anything that goes against that narrative will be ignored or twisted beyond belief.
That’s just the world we live in.
Atta go Larry. I hope we learn soon that you are a US Marine!
Awesome story!! Kudos to the police and CEO to recognize a good kid!!!
It’s unfortunate that we are so cynical about the press but I think it’s warranted.

This often on game shows where people win a lot of prizes but not much cash. So they have to sell some/all of the prizes just to the taxes on them.
Effort and integrity will be rewarded. Maybe not the first time or every time but persistence is an integral trait for success too.
Walter Carr will make a good Marine.
Amen.
Bellhops is a modern company that combines technology with a team of talented workers to
provide a fun, friendly, and professional moving experience.
Bellhops began in 2011 as a simple solution for college students looking for help moving
in and out of their dorms. After early success, the company expanded its services to include
customers of all ages, with homes of varying sizes. To meet this demand, it developed the
nations first tech-enabled platform, which not only streamlines the move-day process
but also ensures customers are matched with the most-qualified movers and professional
drivers in their area.
I’m aware of that but don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
So far....$21,000 has been donated towards the $2,000 goal at GoFundMe.
>>>BTW, theres no bus system between the 2 cities?
We dont really do mass transit here I Alabama. Even the close in Birmingham suburbs have very limited service. The one route between downtown Birmingham and the region’s largest mall in the suburb of Hoover runs about 12 times a day and has hours long periods between runs in non rush hour times.
>>>Never heard of Uber?
Uber requires a credit card. Not everyone has one of those.
I don’t do go fund me things. Well I did once. It was a good cause. A kid lost his nice shotgun in a boating accident while saving 3 kids from drowning.
This is news only because he’s a Black guy.
I disagree.
