Vanity: Planning 2019 Summer Vacation to Trump-Friendly Country (ies)
Self ^ | 7/15/18 | Self

Posted on 07/15/2018 4:53:11 AM PDT by SilvieWaldorfMD

I travel to Europe every other summer. My mother is Italian and she spends about 6 months out of the year in Southern Italy. She comes from a village nestled in the mountains in South-Central Italy, in the Puglia Province. In recent years, she has indicated that the mass migration of foreigners has changed the make-up of the province -- more crime, more drugs, more trash and more people wandering about, homeless. Crime in her little hamlet had increased by 70%!

I told her that I would not be visiting any European countries who have been jerks to President Trump, nor will I visit any European countries which have allowed this mass migration to run amok. In fact, it just so happens that today marks the 3rd anniversary of my trip to England, Scotland and Wales (July 15-25, 2015), which I'm grateful that I visited when I did, because I would not want to step foot in Britain again - not even to change planes at Heathrow - after the loud & obnoxious leftists gave that very unwelcome greeting to POTUS and FLOTUS.

So, I've condensed my list to a few nations that are friendly to Trump and which also don't have mass migration issues. They are: POLAND, HUNGARY, AUSTRIA, CROATIA, SLOVENIA & ISRAEL.

I will not spend my hard-earned money in countries that dislike Trump or the USA. Do you have any other thoughts or suggestions?

Happy Summer!

That sounds like a good list to me. Switzerland hasn’t said anything on him to my knowledge (just stayed neutral), but I doubt many people there like him.

We went to Ireland a few months ago—we encountered no anti-Trump sentiment there and there were no masses of immigration that we saw.

Have you considered non-European countries?

I went to Mongolia and Korea almost two years ago. They were beautiful. Considering that I saw museum displays featuring President G.W. Bush in both countries, and not a single picture of Obama anywhere, I would guess that they are inclined to have a positive attitude towards Trump.

Just wanted to let you know that since Chris Plante started on WABC (10-noon, NYC/northern NJ), I’ve been hearing & enjoying him daily!

Enjoy the lakes in northern Italy. Lake Garda and Como. Then make your way over to Venice for a couple of days. Also spend a day in Verona.
Screw the liberals. They are everywhere including any places you will be visiting. Just enjoy your life. Don’t let them win.

God first, then family, then country. Makes a wiser person, a healthier family and a greater nation.

I just returned from 10 days in Norway where my wife still has cousins living. I highly recommend it. It’s beautiful, barely tainted by undesirable immigrants, and has almost no crime, even in the big cities. It’s also full of very nice, fit, attractive people. A surprise was that many of the people I spent time with were conservative thinkers and would probably be Trump voters if living here. The only downside was that it was fairly expensive to get there and restaurants were pricey (e.g., $25 for a burger and fries in Oslo and Bergen; $10 beers just about everywhere).

Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Norway, Russia, probably Northern Ireland. In a lot of those other countries it’s like here...the big cities blow but out in the boonies much better. I had the good fortune to be stationed in West Berlin 66-69 when Germany was still Germany and indeed Europe was still Europe. Absolutely heartbreaking how the politicians are destroying what’s left.

Try North Korea.
They like Trump more than Europe or Canada.

Croatia’s dalmation coast is beautiful. Budapest, Hungary where I lived twice is gorgeous. Prague in the Czech Republic is also really beautiful. Austria though more expensive, is also beautiful. The prettiest town in Poland is definitely Krakow. As an added benefit, all of those places are a lot cheaper than Western Europe. Italy is also gorgeous with great food, art, etc.

Lived there twice. What are you interested in? I might be able to suggest some things to see/visit.

We were in Puglia in April. First time and with a native who drove us. I saw hardly any African or Arabs. The towns were clean and the pastries and pasta just wonderful.
