Funny how so many so-called conservatives have been driven out, for the leftists they are (always have been), over the past three years.
Well, you can vote Democrat (pro abortion) and still be a Catholic. You can even be a pro abortion legislator and still receive communion in the Catholic Church.
You can be John McCain, or Jeff Flake, or Mitt Romney, etc..... and call yourself Republican.
You can call a dog’s tail a leg, but the dog still doesn’t have five legs.
In conclusion, you can call yourself anything you want and still act the opposite.
I remember long ago Rush one had a guest host who said something like this:
“I’m a conservative, but I support abortion, and I support gun control, and I support gay marriage, and I support...”
He lasted one day, and Rush never made that mistake again.
In a word: No. Conservatives CONSERVE.
Can you be a liberal and a conservative at the same time?
You can support abortion if you are ignorant of fetal development and abortion procedure, which is where many Americans are. But once educated, continued support is to partake of the sin.

A politician saying “I’m pro-life but I won’t vote to impose my views on others” is just another worthless version of a wife-beater’s tears.
The problem is, progressives are like those sick women who keep going back to be beaten. They believe the tears are worth something. Or, more likely, they are like the wife-beater who cries to demonstrate his “sincerity” so he can continue to get away with his evil behavior.

Of course you can be pro-abortion and conservative. Not that you, or anyone else, gets to decide who is or who isn’t. Conservatism is about limiting government control and interference is a free citizen’s life.
Just like when people say queers can be “conservative.”
