Do a lot of people use straws? I can’t remember the last time I saw anybody using one. Usually you do not use a straw to drink beer or coffee.

They are essential in hospitals and nursing homes (bendy straws) for hydration and nourishment.

I used them. Not often, given my usual beverages, but I'd still like them to be available.
