Sure, it’s fast, but how well does it cut? :-D
If my mower went 30 miles per hour the deck would destroy itself trying to cope with the blade rotation speed necessary to still cut reliably at that speed. 150? Fuggetaboutit.
It would also need to corner on grass fairly well.

I do my 5 acres with a 7mph 60’ zero turn. It takes 2.5 hours and 2.5 gallons of gas. This used to be a hay field and is only now becoming nicely filled in lawn. But if my mower went any faster it would bounce right into orbit.

Nice. I picked up a 2003 21hp MTD Yard Machines mower a while back. Sold engine and does a great job with its 42” deck. Use nothing but non ethanol premium in it and it runs li k e a dream.
