Costco is cutting one of customers' favorite options from the menu in many of its food courts.
The retailer is taking the Polish hot dog off the menu to make way for new items, The Seattle Times reported. Locations will be deeply discounting the Polish dog so they can add healthier options such as acai fruit bowls and organic burgers.
Costco is known for its inexpensive but surprisingly tasty food court. However, when the retailer makes adjustments to the menu, there is bound to be backlash.
Many customers are not pleased that the Polish hot dog — a variation on Costco's wildly popular classic hot dog, which will remain on the menu — will no longer be available.

I could only get the polish in Orange County, CA. We’ve since lived in Pittsburgh, Iowa and now south of Houston. No polish to be found, and I can’t stand the gigantic hot dogs.

They ended the Polish hot dog at my local Costco a long time ago, still had the regular beef hot dogs though, and still $1.50 for a Hot Dog and a soda.

I don’t think this write has ever been to a Costco. I never knew that the hot dog was a variant of the polish dog? But if the polish dog was one of the most popular items on the menu it would not be replaced.
