Yes, they are.

Reports are there isn’t too much of a language barrier. Of course using hand signals when wearing masks.

It sounds like only 4 boys are out since 9 in total, still remain.

Just heard that segment on Fox, and was so impressed. Our “mommified” culture needs to take note of this man’s wisdom!

Take your pick of channels. It’s all a crap game. I’m on FNC. Checked on HLN and CNN earlier and true to form, CNN was making up stuff.

One would think they’d bring the weakest out first but on the other hand they’d want the stronger ones to try out the rescue first to know how things go.

In 1970 we had to clear a small tunnel complex in the A Shau. The entrance we found was about 14 inches wide. I heard the LT call my name and he said I think you’ll fit! I was 5-7 and about 135 lbs at the time. I went in with a Smith and Wesson 38 a K-Bar and a flashlight. I clear three tunnels that day and then got incredibly drunk that night, swore I’d never do it again. That had to be the most frightening experience in my life. I had to go in with arms extended to decrease shoulder width. While that was my one and only time to have to do it the Captain managed to get me a patch for it. NON GRATUM ANUS RODENTUM. It’s in the frame with some of my other memorabilia.

In no place in the Bible does it say St. Peter makes any decision regarding salvation. However, it does say the following:

Exodus 20:3-6 - "You shall have no other gods before Me. "You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

John 9:31 - We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

Matthew 10:32-33 - "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

Joshua 24:14-18 - "Now, therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord . If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the Lord , choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord ." for the Lord our God is He who brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and who did these great signs in our sight and preserved us through all the way in which we went and among all the peoples through whose midst we passed. The Lord drove out from before us all the peoples, even the Amorites who lived in the land. We also will serve the Lord , for He is our God."

It appears to me, maybe I'm wrong, that God is in charge and says He is the only true God and that worshipping other gods is not acceptable. He does give man a choice of whether to serve Him or not, unlike islam. Hope that helps.

Of course not. And neither have the Thais rejected help from people who believe in God. Jesus point with that lesson was that God fearing people would not help someone who might have been an unbeliever or of the same culture and they should be careful of refusing to show mercy even to unbelievers.

What an ordeal- fighting floodwaters, dropping oxygen levels, trying to outrace incoming monsoon rainstorms.

The report I read stated 13 international divers entered the cave, 10 of them headed to the chamber deep inside the underground labyrinth, while the others will be located along the difficult route out of the cave system. Nine hours later, the divers emerged from the mouth of the cavern with the first rescued boy and was quickly followed by the second.

The rescuers from Thailand, the United States, Australia, China and Great Britain all brainstormed to find a way extract the team. Two divers escort each boy out of the cave. It takes five hours for the rescuers to reach the boys from the entrance of the cave, and six hours to bring back the boys, including an hour break time.

Seems like there are many pros and cons of either way. But, with all the divers going thru since kids were found, they've proven that the biggest kids won't get stuck. I'd vote for the strongest to go first, to iron out any kinks in the process. Cool using a diver in front *and* in the rear.

Good. Luke 10:25-37 would have a far different message if the stripped and beaten half to death man had elected to die rather than accept help from a Samaritan.

LOL ... weren't we all? Reminds me ... whenI landed at DaNang and walked passed a fenced in area with scores of vets going home. What really struck me was how gaunt their faces were, and how skinny they all were.
Thirteen months later that was me.

It's not my thread, ;-). But I believe that information is incorrect. It's 4 out; 9 in cave. Richard Barrow in Thailand @RichardBarrow 27m RECAP at 9:10pm: The Governor of Chiang Rai has confirmed that FOUR of the boys have safely left the caves and are now in hospital. The remaining NINE will be evacuated on Monday. #ThamLuang #พาทีมหมูป่ากลับบ้าน #ถ้ำหลวง #Thailand #ThaiCaveRescue pic.twitter.com/5RPWB6ECGa

the thread title accurately reflects the numbers at the time the thread was posted. I’d prefer to just leave it the way it is.

And...it’s Sunday. This is not church< this statement is not directed at either of you.
