Roseanne Barr said she "horribly" regrets sending tweets that many called racist, in an emotional interview released over the weekend.

The rebooted "Roseanne" was pulled May 29 after a series of bizarre tweets Barr sent. In one, she wrote about former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett, "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj."
Barr appeared to be sobbing as she told Boteach she has black children in her family and she "can't let 'em say these things about that, after 30 years of my putting my family and my health and my livelihood at risk to stand up for people."
"I'm a lot of things, a loud mouth and all that stuff," she said emotionally. "But I'm not stupid for God's sake. I never would have wittingly called any black person, [I would never had said] they are a monkey."

We need to do better at forgiveness.
What an idiot. They don’t want your apology. They love to see you groveling. This isn’t the America we grew up in where forgiveness was possible. They want us dead, Roseanne. And now you’ve shown your weakness to the enemy.
It pays not to be stupid, lady!
Roseanne needs to stop shying away fro the media and from Twitter and get our there to tell her story, and more importantly; defend her TV show, all her singing of our National Anthem and her Tweets.
but certainly, she needs to be on more TV shows. Every interview show out there, from the View, to the 700 Club to Sean Hannity.

She has been and is still a die-hard leftist. Remember her butchering the national anthem? She is clearly missing a few gerbils upstairs.
Roseanne compared a black Democrat to a monkey, that’s considered evil.
Liberal bullies compare Trump to an orangutan often, no issue there. And calling conservatives stupid knuckle-draggers is in the same vein and equally tolerated by liberals.
Unfair double standards.
Before we die they want us crawling. They are getting off on Roseanne’s misery.
ABC will likely force The Connors into a 2nd season, after which it will be cancelled for lack of viewers.
I did not watch any of the reboot and quit watching the original a couple of seasons before it ended. Even then, without the Roseanne character, that series would have been cancelled, because the cast just did not have the ‘star power’ to make it work without Roseanne.
She said some pro-Trump things and America was ready to welcome her back.
Hollywood ratings are cratering. They have nothing at core, short of cartoons, that draws box office. The Incredibles 2 is a hit because of the content of the characters in the personifications speaks to core values that people have inside them. Those values are not progressive based, they are traditional family values.
“The Connors” will have no center.
“Roseanne” was about the other characters’ interactions with her.
They might as well call the new version Joanie Loves Chachi.
Er, Valerie Jarrett is not black. She’s Iranian, and all the Iranians I have ever seen are white. In fact, the word “Iranian” means “Aryan.” Therefore the claim that Roseanne made a racist tweet is ridiculous.
I think one of ValJar’s parents was black.
As we've seen, if she'd limited herself to that, Roseanne would still have a career.
They should really do a show about an Iranian communist who looks like Zera from the Planet of the Apes movie who is running a shadow government from the house of a former mozzlum President.
She can have a daughter who works for CNN, and have Secret Service protection as if she is a former Presidential family member.

Both of her parents have black American ancestry and neither of them have any Iranian/Persian ancestry.
Lost everything? She’s worth 80 million. I liked her show and won’t watch the Connor show, but lost everything is a bit much.
