4 cups is good?
When I drink 8, it must be twice as good.
I do, with real cream every day.
Sometimes I don’t eat, it’s just cream with Folgers for me.

About 25 years ago my doctor told me to go to decaf..

I refused.

Same thing 10 years later.

I refused.

Once I turned 80 she tried again.

I refused.

Here I am,at 85,and she is retired.

Healthy? Hell, takes that much to kickstart mine in the morning.

Still cannot believe I was mid-20's before I started drinking coffee. Used to love opening a can for my dad, the smell. just never had an urge to drink it.

A few days ago I took two caffeine pills in the early afternoon and then went right to sleep.

I drink two strong cups in the morning...and it’s enough to make me jittery all day.

I don’t know how anyone could drink 4 strong cups every day.

Maybe they’re talking about those little 6oz cups? They’re pretty common in Europe...not like the mugs we drink here.

Eat healthy and you will never really know if it helped you live longer anyway.
Everyone has known a health conscious vibrant person who tragically passed.

Then there was my Grandad. Stubborn diabetic, drank a pot of coffee everyday, smoked 2 packs a day until he had a heart attack at 78, had a quadruple bypass, did finally quit smoking, lived to 89 at home, died in his sleep.
That’s a pretty good run.
I’m not pushing just being careless, I’m just saying that genetics is probably a larger factor.

Outside of GERD in a few people coffee is either good for you or causes no harm. It’s amazing stuff.

On the other hand, sleeping two hours a day isn’t all that great for well-being.

Caffeine is an alkaloid, which is a poison, and it is hell on the heart, not to say the rest of the body.

Tell this to my physician.

Whenever I drink a cup my BP spikes 20 points for about an hour.

I have to drink decaf now or I can switch up to a double dose of lisinopril.

I’ll hang back on this research for a bit.

They are talking about espresso — one small cup has more caffeine, than several cups of American coffee.

They are finally figuring out that coffee and chocolate are good for you, even eggs, after many years of telling you the opposite.

Everything in moderation is probably fine. People are different from each other, so there is no one solution for all.
