A Medical Mystery Grows as U.S. Consulate Workers in China Fall Ill

GUANGZHOU, China — A crisis over a mysterious ailment sickening American diplomats and their families — which began in Cuba and recently appeared in China — widened on Wednesday. The State Department evacuated at least two more Americans who fell ill in China after hearing strange noises, officials said.

Many other employees at the American Consulate in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou and their family members are also being tested by a State Department medical team that has been flown in, officials said. It is unclear how many of them are exhibiting symptoms, but officials expect more American personnel to be evacuated.

For months, American officials have been worried that their diplomats have been subjected to targeted attacks involving odd sounds, leading to symptoms similar to those “following concussion or minor traumatic brain injury,” the State Department says.

This is potentially quite serious.

It is odd. But it is also quite concerning.

Buy a spectrum analyzer and series of antennas for each bandwidth. Scan from 1HZ to 900MHZ. When you see a huge signal in the display, move.

We do know what this is. We most likely know who is doing it. It is very easy to identify and to stop any harmful effects. The Pentagon and CIA make every office a shielded room.

I’m putting my money on mass hysteria and some seizing the opportunity for the government equivalent of worker’s compensation paid time off.

Everyone who has studied much history of the period from 1922 to 1991 knows who carried out the attacks, and some who’ve studied the same period would deny knowing it unless properly interrogated.

It’s a device that most likely emits sound, BTW, not radio waves. Some sound-emitting devices have been developed for warfare and others for riots. Depending on how they were designed, they can cause discomfort or harm (e.g., brain damage).

Having traveled certain parts of southeast China...including Guangzhou...I can say that “filthy” doesn’t even begin to describe it.I suppose that if you’re a native whose immune system is accustomed to the bacteria and viruses you can survive it.But if your immune system is accustomed to civilization it could be a serious problem.

Sounds like the Cubans passed their secret on. Microwaves, very low freq sound or whatever they used.

Why don’t they just tell us to go home, we don’t want you here.

#5. From the old commercial about a pilot telling his passenger that he is very sick, “Bad eggs, kids. Bad eggs”.

“Hey Mister. You want an egg roll with your dysentery?”

One of the ways they prevent eavesdroppers from detecting signals is to increase the noise. This is true for electromagnetic signals and sound. Double windows with piped in music used to be standard, but I’m sure they have moved on to tailored noise designed to be difficult to filter. Who knows what it sounds like. Many office buildings pipe in “pink” noise to make it more difficult to hear what’s going on in other rooms or down the hall. I would expect an embassy to have the pink noise turned all the way up. The problem with these noises is that you get used to them, then go home to silence. The mind plays tricks. You hear about diplomats in Cuba. You talk to coworkers. Spicy food. People talking foreign gibberish. Mass hysteria.

At this point it seems as if I must assume that this (and every other intrigue-laden death with political implications) is the Deep State eliminating its own inconveniently-knowledgable operatives.

Actually that is something I hadn’t even considered.

Interesting point, that.

Not saying that is what is happening. Not saying that is not what is happening.

Thanks.

Nothing conclusive was discovered when naval acoustic research equipment was used to collect data at the U.S. consulate in Cuba, I think it was.

There is no way a spectrum analyzer Wii not pick up radiated broadband, narrow band, h fields, or conducted energy transmissions. The problem is that they are bursts and not always observable. It’s like being shot at and wanting to see the bullets.

just need the proper equipment to pick up radiation/hypersonics etc..

If proven, expell all chinese diplomats from the US in protest for a month and other strong actions and threaten twice the action for the next incident.
