I will never see another Star Wars until they bring back women in metal bikinis.
Although Solo will make the obligatory $100 million and recoup its production costs, it'll still be a stinker and won't live up to its predecessors.
BTW, I haven't watched any other Star Wars movie since the original trilogy.

If I’d have known, I would have stopped at Empire Strikes Back. That was a good one, though.
I saw bits and pieces of the first prequel (Jar Jar Binks), but swore off both the prequels and the sequels entirely.
Read Nolte's piece at Breitbart. The feminists are now in control of Star Wars and they're going to ruin the franchise. They are coming out with too many spin-offs. IMO, the entire prequels and sequels should be remade.

And yet they rejected the stories and novels and comics and I don’t know maybe even radio dramas, some of which were fully in Star Wars canon and all had to abide by style guide and approval.
All it took for me was Director Oopie to tell me that he loves taking money from conservatives so he can give it to liberal causes. Sorry Oppie. Not a dime of my money. The vision Lucas had is dead. Liberalism has killed it.
Yes, Empire Strikes Back is the greatest sequel or part II in movie history. At least that’s what the boys from “Scream 2” said.
That’s because “Empire” had the expert director Irvin Kershner at the helm.
I would have to put “Aliens” right up there with Empire for best movie sequel.
Expert Director Irvin Kershner made trash out of Frank Miller’s script for Robocop 2 and he blamed the writer even though the original written work was much better than the resequenced and hacked and slashed product Kershner put on the screen.
He’s over-rated.
Even good directors can have a turkey. Most folks admit Kershner was the best director of any of the films in the “Wars” franchise.
The genius of Aliens was that it didn’t try to be “Alien II.” Instead, it took a completely different path. Trying to just extend the original story would have resulted in a flop, because once we saw the alien the mystery and suspense upon which the original film depended was gone. Cameron was smart to realize that and instead make Aliens a full-on action movie that could stand on its own.
Of course, the best thing about Aliens was Bill Paxton’s hilarious one-liners. Who can ever forget, “Game over man!...game over!”, or “Why don’t you put her in charge?”, when Ripley said that Newt had been able to survive for months without any weapons?
The real problem with Star Wars is that it is written for two very different audiences because of how it makes money. Most of the money actually comes from licensing toys rather than ticket sales. So given that, you have to market to the age where kids will buy the toys. This is why they keep introducing new spaceships, robots, and creatures with every movie too. It makes you keep buying toys to keep current.
Then you have the movie goers. In 1977, they were the same age as the toy buyers, but now they are the nostalgic toy buyer's parents. They watch the new movies for nostalgia, but are always disappointed now because their more adult tastes are competing with their childhood memories.
Didn’t read the linked review. This is FR. Okay, my twin 10 year old boys and I went and saw it on IMAX 2D late this afternoon. First, IMAX added nothing but cost. Second, the movie was flat, not edge of seat engaging, and a bit shallow. The story writing and character development was very shallow. Overall, not bad, not exciting, and if asked, I’d say wait for it on the Internet to watch from home.
That's okay, it didn't review the movie at all. It just said it's awesome, read some notes provided by Disney's corporate office, and then spent 15 minutes selling products. It's a comedy bit.
