One step at a time.
Why send men when a robot will do? I think robots will explore space before men ever get out of Mars orbit.
It’ll be interesting to see the dark side of the moon, after hearing History Channel’s “Aliens” show talk so much about things we’re not supposed to know about or see over there. If true, there’ll be a major “malfunction” and the lunar rover will explode or crash.
Pretty sad when one thinks of it that way. We can only blame ourselves for what China is today and not advancing on the landing on the Moon.
Sadder still when one realizes that the entire Apollo program was an afterthought. Project Orion was the way, but due to an utter lack of political will it was killed in 1964.
Had Orion gone forward, we would have been on Mars and Saturn for 50 years, while the first interstellar ships would have arrived in the Alpha Centauri system years ago.
We should be doing this, instead of screwing around with Mars.
Just wait until the aliens get a hold of the rover.
It doesn’t matter. We abandoned it and have no brains to get back.
Why would we want to go back? Been there, done that.
...and we did it when it was hard.
