A YUGE Hawk flew into our living room window..a few minutes ago. Scared the HECK out of me! Hit pretty hard. He sat on the outside sill for almost a minute screaming. He looked in at me. That's a first and hopefully last. Had no idea they were soooo large! Its a wonder he didn't crash through! We even have blinds inside the third window and birds still fly into them. He left screaming.
Went outside and finally saw him high up flying about the trees thankfully. Birds are going crazy yelling! I live in a town subdivision. So glad the two mallards weren't here visiting.

Sounds like he was attacking his reflection. Unlike songbirds, you cant deter that with a pic of a hawk pasted to it either!

It’s so frustrating to hear an injured animal crying/screaming and not be able to help. Hope it wasn’t too hurt.

Wow! Do you have a storm or something coming to your area? The animals know when something is going to happen. Before the tsunami in Indonesia, it was reported that elephants and snakes and every animal in between were rushing upground. I always said I would have gone with them. When I lived in the bay area, we had small quakes all the time. I would observe my cats. Unless they scrambled I didn’t.

You don’t see Alfred Hitchcock anywhere about, do you?

We have birds that fly into our patio door - usually kills a couple every year. Never had a hawk though thank goodness.
