John McCain’s fade in recent polls, combined with a barrage of negative news coverage during the financial crisis, has leading Republican activists around the country worrying about his prospects and urging his campaign to become much more aggressive against Barack Obama in the remaining month before Election Day.

A flurry of new polls shows Barack Obama gaining in several battleground states – most notably Florida, Pennsylvania and swing states throughout the West. Officials worry early voting, which is under way in important states such as Ohio, is likely to favor Obama in this toxic political climate.

If Palin had not been on the ticket, McCain would have gotten
slaughtered, instead of just beaten.

Agree...Palin brought a new energy to the lackluster campaign.

McCain was drawing small crowds. Palin was drawing big crowds.

He had to campaign with her to avoid being shown up.

Thanks in part to experience acquired in the 2008 election, as well as as a few earlier endeavors, by the time the 2012 election came along the obama election mafia techniques for stealing elections had become pretty advanced. However in the 2016 election they were overcome by their own arrogance.

It’s funny that when he finally did attack it was against Trump. But then his attacks are pretty lame. I won’t invite you to my funeral.

Politics 101 has 2 SIMPLE RULES
1. Say why you’re the best and will fix things.
2. Say why your opponent sucks and will destroy things.

McCain NEVER had a problem doing both, when it was against a Republican in an Senate Primary, and didn’t even have to bother in his Senate elections (in November), as the totally misguided people actually supported him.

But when it came to his MOST IMPORTANT race, the one for the top job, the one he’d been gunning for, for decades...he simply looked at his Senate college, Barry, as a ‘friend’, working with him against the HORRIBLE CONSERVATIVES, with the worst of them being Sarah Palin...in his little world.

I have a feeling they’re going to pull a Fidel Castro. Don’t tell anyone he’s dead for years and continue to issue press releases and statements supposedly by him...

McCain being urged to “be aggressive”. LOL! Asshole had no intention of becoming President. He was content to be Obama’s doormat.
