Congress has been treating conservative stars Diamond and Silk like they’re on trial, and it looks like Sheila Jackson Lee just became the court jester. On Thursday, the far-left congresswoman from Texas tore into the two black Trump supporters, who were there to answer questions about possible political censorship by Facebook.

You can’t make this stuff up. A Congresscritter who cannot comprehend that April 12 comes after April 11.
She seems to have a problem understanding that 11 comes before 12.
Watched it. 10 minutes. Wouldn’t call it a smackdown; it’s just 2 witnesses being precisely & maliciously grilled, and pushing back - only to be further grilled. Fortunately Lee got her own more in terms of being told her time has expired, after she had “asked” for extra time for extraneous purposes. The “smackdown” was Lee having the rules strictly applied to her “unfairly”, in response to her strictly applying rules to others unfairly.
I recall a parable about someone asking forgiveness, then using that forgiveness to abuse another by not forgiving, then getting his forgiveness revoked and the punishment multiplied.
Diamond and Silk should have simply told Jackson-Lee that all of this occurred well after our astronauts planted a flag on Mars, to put in proper context for her.
I think she was abusing the precise questioning, giving the appearance of “doesn’t grasp 12 > 11”, to get to some “gotcha” point.
What she DIDN’T understand was that Twitter is not a “direct communication” medium. Just because someone “tweets at me” doesn’t mean I’ll see it, especially if there are in the many thousands of “tweets at me” daily like any public figure gets. It’s like nailing a message on a wall in a restaurant, addressed to me, and then accusing me of denying the message because I happened to eat there.
Regrettably, Sheila did not understand that the 11th day of the month is before the 12th day, so a person can’t give testimony on the 11th based on what will happen on the 12th.
If Diamond and Silk could do that, they would make a fortune gambling on football and horseracing.

To list all the way things Ms Lee doesn’t understand is far too time consuming. On the other hand listing those that she does is easy. Nothing. Her and Kasich’s brains must be interchangeable. I’m still waiting to see the flag picture of the one on mars.
I listened to the first few minutes with my EYES CLOSED. I thought it was a man speaking.
Her ASSIGNMENT was to get into the record her words "so you lied", and to take up extra time so that not all the witnesses could be heard.
