The new trilogy is basically sjwars now and just a vehicle for propaganda. Even the prequels are better because at least they aren’t trying to push an agenda.

There was always politics in the movies.

Cue the guy who posted the articles about George Lucas admiring the Viet Cong or the posters who thought the Evil Empire was Abraham Lincoln's America.

I’m aware that Lucas drew some parallels in the earlier trilogy. But my point still stands that the prequels were much less in your face than the new trilogy which is the worst pandering of all.

It seems like I read an article in which George Lucas is quoted as saying he modeled the rebels after the Viet Cong. Are you saying this is disputed?
