In 1967, a Boston Marathon official nearly dragged a woman off the course after she managed to enter the men's-only race. Five decades later, race officials aren't as concerned about gender boundaries: They're now publicly acknowledging that transgender runners can compete using the gender they identify with.
"We take people at their word. We register people as they specify themselves to be," said Tom Grilk, chief of the Boston Athletic Association, the group behind the race. "Members of the LGBT community have had a lot to deal with over the years, and we'd rather not add to that burden."

Prize money for winning is around $100k. I can soneone become a woman for a day for that.
Eventually, women themselves are most likely going to be the one’s to put the kabash on this concept. I’m talking about ‘female-from-birth women’. They will be the ones too often on the losing end of such contests. At some point, they’re going to get tired of ‘losing with grace’. What about all their hard work? Right now, the court costs and bad PR from fighting this are usually too high for most competitive institutions to take on.
It is my sincere hope that the next person to win the overall competition in the Boston Marathon as a women is someone who was born a man. I also hope this applies to the winner in each age category for women.

They would rather not add to the burden of LGBT peoples? So instead they bend over backwards to prove that they are liberal.
And they may see the women’s rankings become a farce. But that’s ok because the Boston Athletic Association needs to virtue signal they are on board with all this transsexual business.

How can we be upset in the narrow sense that the lunatic left has created a Frankenstein monster with this issue and it threatens to destroy women’s athletics which they hold so dear. Little did they know how belligerent, aggressive and demanding the homosexual and perversion community would become to the point of destroying biological women’s ability to compete. Remember, “when they came for my neighbor, I said nothing, when they came for me, no one was left to say anything”? Prophesy becomes truth.
The Marathon passes within a 1 minute walk of my front door.It’s a tradition in my neighborhood to come down and watch the runners go by.Now that I know that these unapologetic perverts and freaks will be running I won’t be doing so from now on.
And it offends the sensibilities of the activist types to say, which chromosomes or genitals does a person have, to determine the sex of an individual.
Something which used to straightforward has become difficult to deal with because so many are kowtowing to these activists and their demands.
