Russian and Argentinian hooligans are plotting to target England fans at this summer’s World Cup. Web football forums claim they have held online “summits” to arrange joining forces. Russian thugs also travelled to Buenos Aires to discuss the plans with Argentinian counterparts. Details of the pact emerged as The Sun on Sunday can reveal a second Russian has been held in connection with a terrifying attack on an England fan at Euro 2016.

I would rather watch a World Cup of hooligans than soccer. Are the English still world class hooligans or with the decades long crack down is that a thing of the past? Any time the Argies get their arrogant arses kicked that is good.

That is the ideal fake news headline.

But it could actually happen.

The world (and soccer hooligans) are just that crazy.

English are pikers today compared with the Central Europeans.

To each their own. I personally love baseball and basketball, but would rather watch paint dry than watch American football. I do, however, love real football (soccer). There are some American football positions that require real football/soccer levels of athleticism (i.e. running backs, quarterback, receivers), but many do not. In addition, it has become really hard to watch a game in which the vast majority of time you are watching nothing is happening (game time outs, television time outs, way too much time between downs, players spending most of the time standing around etc.). But that's just me.

Having said that, these Russian hooligans should be rounded up and jailed.

Soccer hooligans are the only people capable of making Philadelphia sports fans look like the spectator gallery at a Senior PGA Tour event.

Maybe there is still hope for the UK if people like this emerge to take back their society from the haters of civil society.

The English tried to go toe to toe with the Russkis and got their butts handed to them. Then they promptly whined like little girls.

I really enjoy watching rugby on TV. I tell people who don’t know, picture tackle football played in soccer uniforms. One on-field ref who manages to keep the game under control by actually telling the players what they need to do to stay out of trouble. Sportsmanship is expected and you don’t see the phantom flops that make soccer at times comical. Plus the sport is structured so that all kinds of body types (well, not mine) can play a position.

Rugby a hooligans game
Played & watched by gentlemen
Soccer a gentleman’s game watched by hooligans

Argies have never gotten over losing Falklands to Britain back in 1982.

There’s plenty in the U.K. that are capable of taking back their country. It wouldn’t surprise me if they organize through circumstances like this.

They’re more than willing to fight, apparently well enough that other countries need to band together against them :)
