Then the franchise is dead. I can’t bring myself to see Rogue One either. This last one was hard to watch.

Carrie Fisher doing a “Mary Poppins” through the vacuum of space was too much. In fact, I was disappointed she didn’t pop like a balloon leaving the Rebels to figure out what to do next.

It would have also been kinda funny too.

Let her die off screen, I am fine with that... if you want to CGI here in like you did her younger self in Rogue One, fine with that too... However, recasting the role would be a bad move...

Rogue One was far superior to the Last Jedi... sadly.

The Star Wars primary story line is dead to me. The last 2 installments were nails in the coffin. I’ll take Rogue One offshoots, though.

I liked "Awakens" - it was just a remake of the original, with the special effects updated 40 years worth and the acting improved from ridiculous to adequate.

Seriously.

The original plan was to have Silly Ol' JarJar be revealed to be a Sith Lord that ranked above the Emperor.

They shelved the plan after audiences reacted so poorly to Binks.

This’d be great. Meryl as Leia and Harvey Weinstein as Jabba the Hutt. Wait ‘til you see their love scene.

I thought The Cheap Girls were gonna rename themselves to ‘Meryl Streep”?

I think you mean “The Force Awakens”. There wasn’t any instant Jedi in Rogue One (actually, barring that blind monk, there were barely any Jedi in that movie). The “instant Jedi” thing was a problem with Rey and The Force Awakens.

I thought you were joking. You were serious.

They actually had Jar Jar going Sith Lord?

Wow.

Yeah, done. It’s all done.

The new hero chick who mastered the Force in three easy lessons and schooled Luke Skywalker - she looks like a dude and acts like a dude.

I like the black guy, and the guy who is the hot shot pilot.

Someone needs to wrestle that franchise away from the virtue signaling pogues that have it in their feminist clutches now.

I think Jar Jar as a Sith Lord is brilliance!

The new meme would have been: Silly alien who constantly pratfalls is really an evil genius.

Kinda similar to the Kung Fu Drunken Style. You think the guy is drunk or unsteady but there is purpose to his goofy movements.

In fact, if you look at Jar Jar in the battle scenes, he actually uses Kung Fu Drunken Style.

I would like to see a Star Wars movie that focuses on Darth Vader’s injuries, emotional and physical suffering, his grieving over his dead wife, etc. There’s a good story there. The emperor stoked Vader’s suffering so that Vader’s pain turned into constant brutal rage.

Darth Vader has always been the best Star Wars character, and he’s probably the most interesting movie villain of all time.

Overall, I didn’t like Rogue One, but the last two and a half minutes were worth the price of the ticket: Darth Vader goes on an electrifyng light sabre rampage trying to get to the stolen death star plans. He was an awesomely powerful bad@ss, that was a GREAT scene.
