LOL, at least the turkeys (If they weren’t already dead, defeathered and frozen Butterballs!) had a fighting chance when thrown out of the plane!
Love this country, that there could even be an event where turkeys were thrown from a plane as part of a local custom!
The only thing that would have made it better was shotgun bearing guys firing wildly into the air at the falling, flapping turkeys! (and yes, Turkeys CAN fly!)
I don’t know why, but that whole thing just completely hit the irreverent side of my funny bone!
(This thing is regrettable, but good God, I think Hildy is right here!)
