Absolutely indeed. And that’s putting it far too mildly.
However, there could be a ton of poetic justice in crucifying a lot of corrupt, treasonous, arrogant politicos at this point on the calendar.
I wish I had been tracking and recording all the amazing things that have happened since the election. So much has been accomplished really.
Trump has survived and is still surviving unprecedented attacks in the media and the Antifa thugs. The attempt to influence the Electoral College. Recounts by Greenie Jill.
PPDossier and attempt to frame him. Leaking and daily attacks by the mockingbird media.
Even with all that, he has still accomplished so much. I’m going to make a list for the next time every one gets upset over a one - time apparent lose which may yet be not that bad a deal.
Bedtime for now. Yawn.
I found it odd at the time they started these confirmations immediately after the omnibus vote. I guess it was so sort of deal made to get the train wreck of the 1625 passed at midnight.
My estimate is 23.
Could change that number, depending on the threshold for "really dramatic."
I expect nothing dramatic, no OIG report, no DHS elections report. FoxNews is ramping up the criticism of news, but discrediting CNN, NYT, WaPo, etc. is an ongoing effort, so I don't see it as "a dramatic event," even though the ramifications are profound.
Congress is in recess for two weeks. No Committees will be meeting.
Thanks. Should be interesting ... at least not business as usual.
I think we expect some key something-or-other to surface. Time will tell.
Who chooses the members of the committees?
Now I pick and choose which issues to dig into. Once you figure out that the floor speeches and press coverage are misleading, the thrill is pretty much gone.
Though sometimes things are deliberately scheduled for non-business days.
Like the way you think. Great ideas.
Just my hunch, but I think the posts at greatawkening are somehow different or special. I expect posts to occur in both places in, oh, say the next week. Security between Q and 8ch.net is "global" across the "threads" or "boards" or whatever terminology they use.
Ahhhh ... So corrupt congress-critters decide it? Pray, folks!
However, we have a moderate hunch that something quite different from 'business as usual' is much more likely than has been routinely likely.
Actually a fairly typical pattern just before taking a recess. Sombody runs the Executive Calendar around, and determines which nominees can pass with unanimous consent. Deadline for the list being on McConnell's hands is "the day before the recess" or "the day before adjournment."
Form my point of view, the confirmation spurt is completely unrelated to the appropriations, other than they happened on the same day.
Senate will have a similar structure for establishing and staffing its committtees.
Ahhhh. Thanks. Should have assumed that, I guess. Didn’t think that far. Heading back to bed shortly. LOL.
I see that somewhere on the horizon, but not in the next 48 hours.
I don't have any rough deadlines in mind either. The OIG report keeps getting pushed out, although I certainly expect it to appear in public before the end of June.
I am not near as versed on the foreign affairs side as on the DOJ side, and big things are happening there too. The executive is on the right track. Congress is not. The courts are not. But progress is being made.
