Sen. Ted Cruz on Friday praised the choice of Robert Mueller to lead the investigation into whether President Trump's campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential elections.
"I don't think it was necessary to appoint a special counsel," Cruz said. "But the Department of Justice made the decision to do that. If they are going to appoint a special counsel, Bob Mueller is an excellent choice."
Cruz said Mueller, a former FBI director with a sterling reputation, would conduct a fair investigation.

I’m a Cruz guy but I am very disappointed in this statement assuming it is accurately reported.
Why not just keep your mouth shut on it Ted? Trump, your old enemy, should never have been investigated in the first place.
Where’s the gain for you making this statement? You just pissed a lot of your supporters off.

Pretty much everyone in DC respected Mueller & thought he would be an unbiased arbiter. They were wrong. All of them.

Seems Ted would like to live in South Africa because that’s what the democrats will turn the USA into if they get rid of Trump.
Think not? Blacks are almost 13 % of the population . Hispanics 16% that’s 29% total.Add other minorities including Muslims and you have 44% . This is why the media smears Trump as being racist.
