A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection to what police say was an attempted sexual assault Friday on the Minneapolis Community and Technical College campus.
Asad Abu Mohamed, of Bloomington, has been charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (force or coercion), one count of terroristic threats and one count of fourth-degree assault (school official). The first two charges are felonies, the last is a gross misdemeanor.
The criminal complaint states Minneapolis police were dispatched to the campus around 1:05 p.m. Friday where they encountered what the complaint terms a "chaotic scene," as witnesses were comforting a female adult student and MCTC security officers were struggling to detain Mohamed.
According to the complaint, the woman told police Mohamed had crawled into her stall in a women's restroom from an adjacent stall. She alleged he then covered her mouth and told her he would kill her before ripping out an earing and pulling on her hair.
The complaint states several people heard the woman's screams and came in to find her screaming and hitting at Mohamed. Security officers reportedly entered the bathroom and attempted to restrain him, pepper spraying him when he resisted. It was alleged he was "holding a glass pipe of the type used for smoking crack cocaine or methamphetamine in one of his hands."
According to the complaint, an MCTC security supervisor suffered a visible abrasion to his right wrist and a bruised thumb in the struggle.
The complaint also notes two previous charges of indecent exposure against Mohamed were dismissed due to "mental deficiency." And that he had been civilly committed as mentally ill in October of 2016. Mohamed made his first court appearance Monday.

I imagine that nothing is said prior to these assaults. Can’t yell and keep the crack pipe lit at the same time.

Sounds like the woman committed a hate crime and didn’t fully respect his cultural rights.

Is it true that the Minneapolis Police Department is recruiting him. All he has to do to get his badge is to prove he can kill a white woman with a single shot.

I do not see anything wrong here:
* It’s the colorful mosaic at its finest.
* All cultures and values are equal. None are better or worse than others. Who are we to judge?
* Minneapolis has imported “colorful mosaicans” be the tens of thousands.
* He was identifying as a woman when he went into the women’s restroom and was fully within his rights to do so.

She really needs to check her white privilege and stop being so damned racist.
If only Minnesota could figure all of its problems out.
