In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day". _____________________________________________________________________________________________
rac·on·teur ˌräˌkänˈtər/ noun noun: raconteur; plural noun: raconteurs
a person who tells anecdotes in a skillful and amusing way. synonyms: storyteller, teller of tales, spinner of yarns, narrator
Origin early 19th century: French, from raconter relate, recount.
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Amuse me or enlighten me for extra credit. A link to current news story gets extra credit, too.

Thinks he is a raconteur
But He’s just a bore.
The racoonteared up when it was sprayed by the neighborhood skunk.

” A raconteur” A raccoon who tells stories?

Liberals tend to be great raconteurs — charming liars.
(The way this relates to today's news is that this is much more pleasurable to listen to than today's news, and displays a much higher level of truth-telling.) :-)
(Don't shoot your eye out!)
A raccoon who owns a restaurant?
That he was..................A+++!..............
Most are NOT charming!..............A+++!...............
It is obvious that many of those
Who report what they call news
Are raconteurs and clever liars
Just trying to sell liberal views
Like a bunch of carnival barkers
Snickering, they whisper and grin
Right in front of a sideshow tent
So you’re tempted to go right in
But it’s all just smoke and mirrors-
That is how the con artists get paid-
You hand over money to get inside
And discover you’ve been played...
They used to be charming. Rather, I fell for it until I finally got red-pilled.
Have a nice weekend.
As you wish.
