FULL TITLE: Mother calls for stricter hate speech rules against disabled on Twitter after pro-abortion poster surfaces with photo of her DAUGHTER who suffers rare brain disorder and facial deformities
A North Carolina mom criticized Twitter and its regulations after she came across a poster promoting abortion with a picture of her severely disabled daughter splashed across it.
Natalie Weaver reported the hateful tweet posted by user @OBSIDIANSMOAK this week.
The reported message first read: 'It is okay to think that every child matters however a lot of them do not hence the amnio test.'
The poster went on to say: '(It) should be a mandatory test and if it proves negative and the woman does not want to abort then all bills accrued after that is on her and the father.'
After her report, Twitter initially declined Weaver's request, and suggested there was nothing wrong with the poster.
Weaver received a message that read: 'Hello, thank you for your recent report. We have reviewed your report carefully and found that there was no violation of the Twitter rules against abusive behavior.'
Furious, Weaver, the founder of Advocates for Medically Fragile Kids North Carolina, took to her page to share her disapproval over the matter.
'@TwitterSupport Just received an email that Twitter doesn't think a person using my child's image as the poster child to ABORT & to weed out all the 'defectives' in utero is a violation.

I did a search...nothing came up
“Stricter hate speech rules” . under the 1st amendment, list all current things we can’t say.
That’s pretty damn low....
But hate speech is protected speech.
The guy that did this needs an azz-whupping
That’s a very mean thing to do to the mother and the child.
If this were in the states, the parent might be able to sue somebody.
I now see that it was in North Carolina.
The Daily Mail posting from England threw me off.
It was on twitter so can make world news easy.
People don’t post pics of your disabled kids on the web. It just makes them fodder for bullies and retards (no offense to those with trisomy 21)
No. The world can be a cruel place. Get used to it. Better yet, get off social media.
The answer to bad speech is more, better speech.
Worked fine when I plugged the whole title in and searched “titles”...
If you use someones photo, without their (or their guardians) permission, and against their expressly stated views, to promote killing them and everyone else youve grouped them with, you should expect serious consequences.
I’ve seen posts on various fora by those liberal advocates of killing the disabled.
I suggest that such postings should be answered with something along the lines of, “You know who else loved to kill the disabled? The National Socialists, aka Nazis! You must be a big fan of Hitler!”
Since the left loves to call anyone who stands against their socialist dreams, I think that every proposal they advocate that was a Nazi policy should be called out as such.
