If Timmy is over 90mph with control again, there'll be a line of team trying to sign him.

That's a very big "if". Lincecum is 33, not a big guy physically, and that arm has seen a lot of use. He may be able to throw it 90 mph with decent control in a workout, but the odds of his arm being able to carry that into June, let alone September, seem pretty remote.

I hope I'm wrong - Tim gave Bay Area baseball fans a lot of quality pitches to watch over the years and he'll always have my appreciation as a fan.

I’d like to see him take league minimum with a TON of incentives, if he believes in himself. He’d do the game good and be a nice story to watch throughout the season.

I would say that your prediction is the most likely outcome. Pitching creates a lot of wear & tear. Rest can allow some significant recovery and a return of the ‘arm strength’. But it usually goes away quickly with older pitchers. Not wishing it on Lincecum. Just recognizing that Father Time rules.

Well if he’s asking for more than the Seattle Minimum Wage it won’t be the Pirates who sign him.

“Giants uniform in a short relief role, possibly.”

Closer.

“The Freak”

Well, that’s my fantasy anyway.
