LaVar Ball has another message for the Lakers: If you want to keep Lonzo, you’ll need to take his brothers, too.
The outspoken, media-seeking father of the rookie point guard is adamant about seeing Lonzo’s lesser-talented younger brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, join him in the NBA, and seems willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
“I want all three boys to play for the Lakers,” LaVar told Lithuanian journalist Donatas Urbonas. “But if that does not happen, I’m telling you the story [of] what’s gonna happen first. If they don’t take Gelo this year, I bring back Gelo here [in Lithuania], to play with Melo for two years. Lonzo will be on his third year, and I [will] let every NBA team know that Lonzo is not going to re-sign with the Lakers, but will go to any team that will take all of my three boys. That’s my plan.”

I thought the Lakers should have traded Lonzo before the deadline, just to be rid of the circus, but maybe no one would give up much for him. It would be so fitting to trade Lonzo to some small market team, maybe next year! How about Mempis?

#2 son isn’t even considered a serious pro prospect by anyone. He was probably not going to play much at UCLA if his career there had not been blown up by his shoplifting and his idiot father.
#3 is supposed to be better, but he’s only 16 so who knows right now whether he will even make it to the NBA. In any case, no coach or GM would want to deal with all 3 as a “package deal” and with LaVar’s b.s. It will never happen. If they are to have any shot at NBA careers they’d better start planning to make it on their own terms, not as a trio.

amazing how a free ride and an american university where they might get an education, has just been tossed aside by an egomaniac. I would have told my dad, I’ll stick it out at UCLA with a suspension or whatever and go to class.
