This thread is a friendly collaborative place for FReepers to share information and opinions about Q Anon content. FReepers have a wide variety of reasons for investigating Q Anon content; this is not the appropriate place to criticize or badger those who choose to use some of their time in this manner.

You can locate my prior Q Anon threads by searching the key words "Q Anon" or "Qanon" using the search window in the upper right of the Free Republic's forum page. The active Q Anon thread will be shown at the top (newest) of the search results.

FWIW, we don't know what is lies and what is not so you have no clue if that is happening or not. Neither do any of us but the one thing that IS happening with all these discussions around the internet, is the red-pilling of Americans. That is a GOOD thing.

I can’t imagine being that much of a snowflake. If Q turns out not to be real, then we’ll all give a cheer for the fun we’ve had bonding together and thinking about things we’d never have thought of otherwise. Snowflake melting? Not a chance!

Typically what I do is state my perception of what I think the problem is and ask mods to investigate to see if what is happening comports with the standards expected by those of us visiting in JimRob’s living room.

Fentanyl is an opiate, but no oral form exists. It comes in IV and transdermal patch forms. It is plenty stronger than morphine, but so are Dilaudid and other opiates. The big benefit and reason we use it in the hospital is that it is rapid-acting, but also wears off quickly. That makes it titratable - we can run it in an IV continuously or in frequent boluses (every 15-60 minutes) to keep patients’ pain down with less risk of overdosing them. In more progressive ICUs, you can treat patients with fentanyl for the discomfort of an endotracheal tube and ventilator and be able to stop sedative and hypnotic medications so they can function better. So we had patients who had to be on ventilators still able to walk laps around the ICU with physical therapy.
Outpatient, fentanyl patches are helpful for cancer and hospice patients, but there are plenty of chronic pain patients who end up with them too. Fentanyl is fat soluble, so it may not be a good choice in skinny/cachectic patients (they’ll just pee it out). One guy came in to clinic with 200mcg of fentanyl patches, but that’s what “worked” for him so he would not be convinced that at 200mcg it really was NOT working for him at all.
As far as abuse goes, some people will heat up the patches to cause the drug to be released faster (normally they’re 72 hour patches). The liquid form would be injected.
I didn’t really know about inhaled fentanyl. Cool! for anesthesia. I didn’t realize it could contaminate things per the CDC, including agriculture and water. I would have thought it would break down faster. Most likely the intent for the Boston fentanyl was sale to IV drug abusers, though.

Excellent summary of Rand. She is a perfect example of an atheist who tried to erect a false god and worship it.
Then she went all Fatal-Attraction on her protege, Nathaniel Brandon. I sometimes think that was God’s wakeup call for impressionable highschoolers like me who were following her extremely closely in the late ‘60s-early ‘70s; although, frankly, I think becoming a college freshman was antidote enough for her bizarre ideas.
Do her modern followers even see how kooky she was?
Psychologically she was clearly a Borderline Personality, splitting everything/everybody into camps of absolute good and absolute evil—the personality deficiency that eventually unraveled her.
Why don’t you fill up your about page with all the “Wrong Info” Q has posted, with links?
Then you can refer folks to the line in your page that proves them wrong.
That way you can troll much more efficiently.

It may well be a fact. I just didn’t want to overstate in case I was wrong.
I believe that truth is truth and immutable. That to every question, there is only one truth, once that question is boiled down to it's essence.
Is the earth flat or round?
Only one truth.
Is it right or wrong to kill your own child in the womb?
Only one truth.
Is there a God or not?
Only one truth. etc.
You and I have a basic difference on our philosophies as regards the question of truth, is all. There is nothing wrong with that. I think this argment has been going on since man began to think. It can be a very good discussion, one which I enjoy very much. I see both sides of the argument, but have come down on my side after much ponderance.
Anyway. I'm off Q again. Back to work in my constant search for truth. :)
