“people have come to begin almost every sentence with the word, So.”
It seems that’s become prevalent over the last year or so. At least, that’s when it started to bug the hell out of me. I notice it most on news shows when a question is asked of one of the politicians or pundits. The response always begins with, “So”. Irritating.
My biggest pet peeve is the bimbos (seems always to be female) who pronounce the “st” sound like “sht”.
Shtrategy.
Adminishtration.
Shtrength.
I first noticed it when Moochele spoke. Now it seems that everyone is doing it. The younger Fox News ladies all seem to do it. Lisa Boothe. Marie Harf. Most of them, actually.
