A 19-year-old man in a Seattle suburb has been arrested and accused of raping a high school student as she was dying from an overdose and texting explicit pictures of her to friends.
The suspect, who has been identified as Brian Roberto Varela, was charged Friday with second-degree rape, manslaughter and controlled substance homicide, the Associated Press reported.

Seriously, this is the kind of extreme depravity that ought to qualify for a death penalty even if the perp didn’t “premeditate” killing her..... he certainly acted with such wild, beastly depravity and disregard for her survival that she died. Knowingly raping someone suffering a drug overdose, knowing that she was dying/dead, and stuffing the body away for disposal.... I realize that is not the usual “1st degree murder” but there ought to be a category for “death penalty due to extreme inhuman depravity” or something like that....
Gov. Inslee of Washington state is trying to do away with the death penalty there and has announced a moratorium (he won’t authorize any death penalty even if the penalty is legally imposed by a court), so it wouldn’t matter right now even if this were “1st degree murder” — the perp still couldn’t be put down as he deserves. Yes, Gov. Inslee is trying to get rid of the death penalty and says he won’t authorize any executions. Typical Libtard. But this case would not qualify anyway, if it’s not charged as “1st degree murder” ... my point is that there ought to be a way to charge such extreme depravity resulting in death for a death penalty, but I don’t actually think in any state this would be a death penalty case. Should be, but won’t be.
