A dead goose fell from the sky and knocked a 51-year-old hunter unconscious on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
The incident happened around 5 p.m. Thursday in Easton, Maryland, near the Miles River. Robert Meilhammer, of Crapo, Maryland, was hunting with three others for waterfowl when someone in the group fired on a flock of Canada geese overhead.

We used to hunt ducks on salt water near Juneau back in the 90's - scoters, goldeneyes, a few mallards and would have dead birds land in the boat on occasion. If you didn't pick up the floaters quickly, either a bald eagle or sea lion would help themselves.
The bag limits were generous and it was normal to come home with 30 or 40 ducks before noon, then the work began.

That town over on the Shore is pronounced CRAY PO. Good folk whose votes probably went 99.5% for Trump. There’s always a few inbred feeble minded in the villages.
