People who are attracted to men have different tastes. Some think Dwayne Johnson is their perfect man, whereas others are a fan of Idris Elba or Prince William.
But however unique we think we are, new research suggests we're probably wired to copy each other's preferences.

I've experienced it a number of times in my life.
After a while, I managed to 'play' this effect to great benefit.
Took me years to understand this. All I knew was, when I didn’t have a girl, girls weren’t interested in me. The second I got a girl, other girls SUDDENLY liked me.
I finally learned to use this to my advantage when I realized that if you can get one girl in a group to like you, then they ALL will like you. So if I had my eye on a girl I knew was out of my league, I would just work on one of her closer friends who was not out of my league and get her to like me, and BOOM, the girl I wanted would start liking me too.
Another tidbit I FINALLY learned about women is to not worry if they were taken. I’m not talking married women, but women who had a dedicated beau. I learned that everybody breaks up sooner or later, so if I like a girl who was taken, I would just make her a “friend” and wait until she finally broke up with her guy.
More precisely, they are trying to signal to other women "I'm much more attractive than you, you cannot compete with me, so you might as well leave". So they really ARE dressing for men.

The opposite is also true. If you go to a nightclub and get rejected by a woman early in the night, you’ll might as go home. All the other women there will be able to smell that rejection on you all night and you’re out of luck.
