It would be simple enough for committee folks, who approved the release, to say whether or not what is released is the same as what they reviewed.

It is the committee which will be doing the release. They will release what they sent to the President. The Executive branch will have no role in "editing" the memo. At most, the FBI hierarchy will be told that they will be free to issue their own press release containing their thoughts on items needing clarification.

In the rules, section 2 B, it says "The select committee may disclose publicly such information after the expiration of a five-day period.... This means that there is a final vote to release.
