My four year old grandson is about to be whisked away to Hong Kong for a visit and I’m so afraid for his safety because he’s a precocious little guy and prone to running ahead of his family, and I fear he could run right into the arms of one of the beasts.

Pedos find kids, and I would imagine pedos in positions of power in government, who control Law Enforcement, can do whatever they want.
I can tell you right now, from personal experience, if people in government who have power declare that the law doesn’t apply in some regard to you, there are no more laws for you. Literally, know the right people, and want to shut anything down, and somebody with credentials can walk into a room, lay out exactly how any Law Enforcement is to stand down, and there will be no law enforcement. It doesn’t matter if the agency is your local PD or the most upper echelons of the FBI, or if the agents or cops want to go forward. Things changed after 9/11. It is just how it works, and it appears there is nothing to do about it for now.
From what I see, they could grab your kid tomorrow, and be caught on camera, and drop their drivers license at the scene, and you would be told by local PD the investigation was stalled, and if you took it to court, the judge would probably get the same treatment, as would all the counsels.
You have to see things from the inside to realize this is all perfectly plausible. Whether it is, I cannot say for sure, but there sure is a lot of smoke.
