A Metro Detroit eatery is doubling down on gourmet food with a $60 taco.
That's right. A $60 taco can be yours at a Dearborn restaurant - as long as you call ahead.
M Cantina on Michigan Avenue unveiled the pricey meal that isn't your standard beef and cheese taco. This expensive dish comes with wagyu beef, foie gras, caviar, and black truffles.

I swear there isn’t any thing some liberal
wackadoodle can’t screw up. Truffles?
sounds good, but leave the caviar on the side.
they come with a Detroit house?
If it includes foie gras, I’ll take a standard one. Can’t stand liver.
A waste of wagyu beef.
8 bucks for a #2 combo..
I’m in Heaven!
I like caviar
I am not the craziest in the world for black truffles, but whatever.
Now I can see a gourmet taco with wagyu beef. And maybe with Gorgonzola cheese and maybe, just maybe, caviar…
…but foie gras on a taco? The thought of that is just disgusting. Perfect way to both ruin a taco and a waste a batch of force-fed goose liver.
#10. One goes to Detroit, ARMED!
Mom got her recipe from her Mexican neighbors in Douglas AZ. I’ll put it against this effete trash any day.
AND under protest and heavy threat.
In Dearborn those tacos will have to be halal.
I just made tacos using bacon as the taco shell (basket weave the bacon and form it into a taco shell)My family loved them!
I would say the same for my mother's tacos.
I thought maybe Taco Bell was selling them at that price because Detroit pulled a Seattle and raised their minimum wage to $15 per hour.
“My name is Carlos Sleem. Reservation for one, please.”
