UFOs Surpise Kiwi Farmer
newshub.co.nz ^

A Kiwi farmer looking after a cow in labour has caught three UFOs on camera.

Popular YouTube account UFO Today uploaded the footage, saying it was sent in by a subscriber.

"She was watching out for a cow that was about to [give] birth when she suddenly saw this weird light outside over the field," the description reads.

"Her first thought was that these lights were part of a military operation, but after a minute or two realised she was witnessing something else. After the sighting the cow gave birth to 2 young calves.

"She [sent] us the footage and she hopes we can find out what it was she saw."

Oh, they mean a farmer in New Zealand, not a person growing kiwi fruit.

That’s still not as bad as the robovoices they’ll use to narrate a video instead of doing it themselves.

I wonder how much longer terms like “footage” or “roll the tape” are going to be with us? It’s hard to come up with replacement terms when it is all streaming digital.

I still can’t figure out why interstellar spacecraft need headlights or flashing lights. To get here, they would have to be flying faster than the speed of light, thus making headlights useless.........

BBQ meat: check.
Eggs: check.
But I didn’t know you could get milk from a kiwi.

Half the fun of the news is trying to figure out what information they’re trying to convey.

“footage” convert to meters as in “roll the meterage”

Same reason the FAA and other aircraft regulating agencies require clearance lights on all plane!

Do not want them running into each other, now................

So, the cow had calves after seeing the light?
At least she didn’t have cankles...

Except that a meter is often too long, being more akin to "yardage". We need something bigger than a centimeter, but smaller than a meter ... Decimeterage!

Of course, no one uses either decimeters or decameters, even in the fully metric world. It is even worse with weights, where there is no commonly used term between the miniscule gram and the ~2.1 pound kilogram. Makes it really stupid for buying the metric equivalent of a pound of meet. I have seen Canadian ads for fish where the sell it by the "hundred gram". Even there, they can't bring themselves to call it a hectogram.

These appear to be drones with bright lights attached. Such lights would be required if they were to be used for commercial purposes. Of course, they should have been red. These were prototypes being tested.

People shouldn't be so quick to mock these UFO sightings! I had a similar incident a few years ago, while tending to my flock of passenger pigeons. Before I blacked out I was able to snap this horrifying picture.

Me three. I thought she was farming Kiwis. Image and video hosting by TinyPic Why in the world would someone name a shoe polish after a small, flightless bird? Do they drop them from helicopters on Thanksgiving in Oz?
