Wow, that’s amazing. We’ve been quoted some absolutely insane drop-off charges in the past couple years. Pick up in Boise and drop off in Spokane was like a $500 fee. We drove back to Boise from CdA, but it is an all-day drive.
Stay away from Enterprise. They tried to frame me for a $1300 false damage charge when I was across country.
I know a guy that flies in to a city. They take an uber to a rental place away from the airport and they rent from there. Lower overhead, lower prices.
But you are going to pay through the nose depending on what else is going on in town, and...it’s winter and Phoenix is a destination for a lot of folks. February is also spring training for lots of college baseball teams.
On Priceline you can bid for it. I have gotten some great deals.
...and keep the money out of the hands of the (big-city) mayor and his cronies!
Enterprise. I’ve used them in several states and overseas, too. Happy customer.

Absolutely! So many of my buying decisions are influenced by “how much tax mo eye can I deprive these jerks?” Hence, most of my buying is on Amazon.
Thanks for the suggestion. Found one in Tempe that saved a bunch of cash!!
Great; enjoy the nice weather we are having.
