They are creepy because they are mostly occupied by liberals.

And yet again! Something else that never occurred to me. I guess I separate images from reality almost totally. My focus is always on design. Mother's fault. When I was very, very tiny she would smooth the dirt at the foot of the backporch stairs - great, black Chicago dirt - and draw pictures for me to interpret. I'd fall asleep with her drawing pictures on my back that I'd have to identify. Then when I studied art, they'd do things like make us draw the human figure in front of us upside down. Or without skin.

I’ve been putting them up by topic. The topic in my head for this was “landscapes from above” and “landscapes as art.” Because at least one FReeper complains about old articles going up, I wait till Daily Mail has a new one that’s appropriate as a base, and then add all the old ones I think he wouldn’t want up as main threads. I’ll work my way through my old links eventually. But I limit the number of images I show and there’s always more at the link above the pictures.

Some of these will look familiar from my music video on Landscapes.

Did you want to be on my photography ping list? That’s where I put these sorts of photos.

I am most comfortable in open spaces. Too many people creep me out. Pisses the wife off as I will not go to parties or other events with many attending.

Dinner out with a another couple is tops for me. Asperger autism or what, I dunno.

Nothing odd about that at all. Husband won’t go into any crowds. Only time that bothered me was when I desperately wanted to see the white Lippanzer horses at the Danbury CT State Fair. Poor Paul left the fair and walked home, he was so overwhelmed by the crowds. I’m not a party person either. It’s too superficial. Fun, to me, is really hearing what another person has to say about the world and that doesn’t happen in a crowd. Open spaces, on the other hand, scare me. Put me alone outside and THAT I’d find creepy. I’ve built my backyard into a park and the library is completely glassed so I stay inside and look outside, which is perfect for me. The outdoors becomes a work of art framed in the windows.

It is so wonderful to have a reason to stop and recognize beauty. It calms the soul and makes the smile just glow out of you. I love sharing that feeling. Thanks for being there with me.

Never my thing. The first life sketching class I ever took - you can’t imagine how hard it was to draw someone while you’re staring at the ceiling.
